Now that it's the weekend I have had more time to play. I have my Note 4 rooted now with some customization. My favorite being the screen recorder option from holding the power button down. I take no credit for any of this, I'm just posting the steps I took to rooting my Note 4. Rooting your Note 4 with this method will trigger your KNOX. Some phone companies will not accept phones traded in if this has been triggered, it's a Samsung security precaution. I only root my phone for the customization of my phone only. That's a major reason why I originally switched back to Android from iOS.

1. First and most important thing you should always do before messing with your phone is create a back up of your phone just in case you get into troubles.

You'll need to download these things:

Odin V3
(Make sure F. Reset Time is NOT checked)

a. Download and extract Odin V3.09

Firmware Info
(xda-developer: Link to OP)

b. Download and extract Full Firmware

2. Reboot your phone in download mode ( Press and hold Power + Volume Down + Home at the same time)

a. Press volume up to continue

Download Mode Icon
(You'll see this icon)

3. Plug your phone into the computer

Phone Connected to Odin
(ID:COM box should change color)

4. Load the firmware in the AP Section and message will change as shown below

Untitled
(Make sure MD5 says successful)

5. Again make sure that F. Reset Time is not checked and that only Autoboot is checked. When your settings are correct go ahead and press Start! The process is automatic and you will know you are successful when your you see the words PASS and your phone boots up.

Pass
(Successful Rooting)

Because the Phone was officially released on the 17th we shouldn't be expecting to quick of release of custom ROM / Recovery too soon. What you can do is install Xposed and Wanam Xposed to your phone. This was the main reason I Rooted my Note 4!

Download:

1. Install / Update Framework then reboot.

2. Download Wanam Xposed from the PlayStore

3. Change custom settings!

What I have ticked:

a. Expand all notification (needs to be on for Screen Recorder)
b. Enable 4 way reboot menu (option to reboot/hot-reboot/recovery/download mode)
c. Screen Record (Add option to Power Menu)
d. Selected more applications to function under ' Select multi window apps'
e. Disable Knox notification
f. Disable Secure Storage (fix for S Health issues after downloading Xposed)
